The Kokni Muslim Association Birmingham (KMAB) founded in the 1970's serves approx 250 families as its members. The KMAB manages the running of a Shaffi Prayer hall, Madressa teaching approx 70 children including Quran Hifz and are registered to carry out Islamic Marriage ceremonies. The KMAB are also registered as Funeral Directors.
